Phoenix Blog Post: Polar: Open sourced LXD / Incus image server written in Phoenix
In December of 2023 we came to the realization that we needed to build our own image server. After hitting a few snags we decided that it was time we had our own image server.
The LXD community is going to lose access to the image server in May 2024, our company depended on the image server and we can’t stop using LXD because of how great it is, so we set out to build our own image server.
The following post is the story of how we got here and also explains why we believe it’s important for us to open-source this to the linux / elixir / phoenix community.
