When is Phoenix 1.4 (the framework, not the book Programming Phoenix 1.4) expected to be released?

Edit: see:

When it’s ready!

You can track the 1.4 milestone issues on GH. When those become 0, then it’s time for a release. We have completed all the large milestones with the conclusion of the channel transport layer rewrite, so now it’s working thru the smaller issues in the blacklog.

@pillaiindu Meanwhile you can use version 1.4, if you’re following Programming Phoenix ≥ 1.4. I did the same.

Phoenix 1.4: will it be easy to migrate from 1.3? Or just use 1.4 RC right now?

So looking here https://github.com/phoenixframework/phoenix/milestone/17 – does that mean Phoenix 1.4 is going to out very soon?

#5

No. It means that currently there are two unresolved issues in the 1.4 milestone.

Seems it may soon be time for a release… :smirk: :fire: https://github.com/phoenixframework/phoenix/issues?q=is%3Aissue+milestone%3Av1.4+is%3Aopen

Did you stumble upon any problems?
