Looking for meets/people in Hamburg/Gemany

Hi all.

I am a very experienced software developer and
I worked for over 40 years now and used many programming languages:

Basic, Pascal, Smalltalk, Delphi, .NET/C# with functional aspects , Clojure, Objective-C, Swift with functional aspects.
The last years, I learned and used Elixir (I longed for a long time to use a pure functional language).

I am now 42 Hex and a pensioner since 1.2.24.
I am missing the communication with other elixir-developers.

I am thinking about reviving the Elixir HH Meetup, sharing Ideas and interesting experiences. Maybe working on an open-source project or starting a book club.

I am looking for people who have similar ideas and especially people in Hamburg/Germany to meet with and discuss and share.
Maybe I can help and learn something interesting.
.
Please contact me. That would make me very happy.
Heiko

Hi, best greetings from close by.

I’m open to revival of the HHex as well, though would probably not be able to help actually organise it, nor would I be able to attend each and every month.

If it’s not for the meet-up, I think we can at least meet over a coffee or beer some day?

Greetings, NobbZ

Hi all  Great to see so many people are still interested in a meetup in Northern Germany. I’m also part of Naymspace and just saw my colleagues posted here. We’re discussing when/where and how to organise the meetup at the moment and if we can do it, will let you know soon.

One topic we could discuss is our Open Source tool Backpex which we are working on and would love to hear your feedback. But besides that: what are topics you would be interested to discuss?

I’m in. We can meet at my office in Langenhorn: Oehleckerring 6b, 22419 Hamburg. But I’ve only capacity for like 6 hackers. If the weather is nice we can sit on the terrace.
