I’ve been working on a service for syncing my static blog posts to atproto’s standard.site lexicon, annot.at, which amongst other things gets you a special frame on previews on Bluesky. To build that I needed to figure out atproto OAuth, the thing that lets you build a client app that integrates with any atproto account provider, and now I’ve broken that out into its own library, Latch.
The goal of this library is to do one thing really well, OAuth and the associated client requests, and I’ve made an effort to follow the best practices of Elixir library design.
atproto is a really cool technology and I hope that this will inspire and enable more people to play around with it and build interesting apps!
