Benedicta Uwabunkeonye, Nigeria, Open for fullstack Elixir Developer job

I am Ijeoma Benedicta Uwabunkeonye, a Fullstack Elixir Developer with over three years of experience in the tech industry. I have been consistently fine-tuning my skills to improve daily. Throughout my career, I have built projects using React.js, a JavaScript framework, and have worked on small-scale, medium-scale, and large-scale projects.
My skills goes across JavaScript, TypeScript, Elixir, WordPress, problem-solving, team development, and communication. I have applied these skills to enhance every project I’ve worked on. Early in my career, I participated in several hackathons, where I collaborated with teams and worked independently to build scalable solutions. One notable example was a hackathon focused on utilizing the Square API for payment integration in an e-commerce application.
I have also developed robust projects, such as Access365, a website for a CCTV company designed to showcase their services, improve accessibility, and highlight their dedication to enhancing security within the country.
Currently, I work at Figours, a payment application built with Elixir as part of the Erlang ecosystem. Our goal is to create a flexible, seamless, and borderless payment service for the public. In my role, I leverage my skills to enhance application performance, ensure proper error handling, optimize customer experience, facilitate smooth third-party integrations, and foster collaboration between developers and the business team.
I am now seeking a full-time position as an Elixir Developer to continue growing, solving challenging problems, and contributing meaningfully to impactful projects. As part of my commitment to continuous learning and community growth, I started ElixirForges, a YouTube channel dedicated to both Elixir and non-Elixir developers. My goal is to create a hub where developers of all levels can find valuable resources, learn from real-world challenges, and explore libraries that enhance development in the Elixir ecosystem.
I am passionate about Elixir because of its flexibility, scalability, and the opportunities it offers. It is a language with a thriving community that fosters continuous developers growth and innovation. I am eager to be part of a firm where I can contribute my expertise while continuing to evolve as a developer.
Thank you for taking the time to consider me as a valuable addition to your team.
