Welcome to ElixirConf

Elixir is a dynamic programming language with metaprogramming, hot-code reloading, and full stack Web framework in Phoenix. Thanks to the Hex package manager and Mix.install, it’s never been easier to experiment with libraries. These particular ingredients make Elixir uniquely suited for rapid prototyping, go from an idea to a working proof-of-concept in record time. In this talk I’ll present prototyping in IEx, Livebook, and a new project that makes it trivial to experiment with Phoenix: Phoenix Playground.
