Hex.pm Mirrors Deprecated

I am taking the liberty of X-posting this from the Elixir-Lang-Talk list. If one of the admins would care to put it on the Elixir-News category, I think that’s where it actually belongs.

We are going to deprecate a few mirrors for the hex.pm repository because we have faster alternatives backed by geographically distributed CDNs.

The following mirrors have been deprecated:

https://s3.amazonaws.com/s3.hex.pm
https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/s3-eu.hex.pm
https://s3-ap-southeast-1.amazonaws.com/s3-asia.hex.pm

The new official repository, hosted by Fastly, is: https://repo.hex.pm. For a full list of up-to-date mirrors, official and unofficial, go to: Mirrors | Hex.

The Hex client for Mix and Rebar3 have been updated to use the new URL so unless you are using a custom mirror there’s nothing you have to change.
