Spatial data is everywhere, but the tools to work with it haven’t kept up. At Felt, we’re changing that with a modern mapping platform built on Elixir and React. We’re looking for an engineer to lead our growth systems while contributing to the core platform that powers real-time, collaborative mapmaking.

About the job

Job title: Web/Elixir Engineer
Job description: Lead the development of Felt’s product-led growth systems and help scale the platform to millions of users.
Salary range: Benchmarked against companies at our stage and valuation
Qualifications or experience required:

  • 5+ years of full-stack engineering experience with strong Elixir, React, and database skills
  • Comfortable building complex systems integrating product analytics (Amplitude or similar), billing (Stripe or similar), and customer data (HubSpot or similar), and making them fast
  • System-level thinker with an eye for detail and feel comfortable collaborating across product, marketing, and sales teams
  • Product driven mindset - believe in doing the right thing by the user first

What the successful job applicant will be working on: Building and optimizing growth systems while also improving our Elixir backend that serves maps to our users

Remote job: yes (although we do also have an office in Oakland that you’re welcome to work out of, but the majority of employees are fully remote)
