How to configure Erlang and Elixir plugins in JetBrains IntelliJ 2025.2.4?
I’ve installed the Erlang plugin by Sergey Ignatov and the Elixir plugin by Elle Imhoff, but I can’t figure out how to configure them. The Erlang plugin doesn’t point to any documentation, and the Elixir plugin point to intellij-elixir/README.md at main · KronicDeth/intellij-elixir · GitHub However I can’t match anything from that page with the actual Settings dialog. The screenshots appear to be from a much older version of IntelliJ IDEA. Near the top is a link titled “Setup the SDK”, but it points to #small-ides which appears not to apply to IntelliJ IDEA. Above that is a heading “SDK” Under “Rich IDEs” it directs me to use the Project Structure dialog to install the SDKs. When I select .asdf/installs/erlang I get the error dialog “The selected directory is not a valid home for Erlang SDK”. When I select the menu item “Add Elixir SDK from disk” I get the error “You need to configure an Erlang SDK…”
Is there a guide for dealing with this, and getting the plugins configured?
