Rebus 0.4.0 has been released.
Rebus is a D-Bus library for Elixir. I originally wrote it last year to handle some bluetooth monitoring, then I added some method call support for talking to Avahi. I recently finished rounding out the support so now its possible to implement and expose services on the message bus.
There is also experimental support for sending and receiving file descriptors. If you opt in to this the project will either fetch a pre-built NIF, or build it. The NIF is required for safe handling of the file descriptors. The default is to exclude this support, in which case the NIF is not used, and connections don’t declare their support for fd passing.
