Cool! In a prior life I wrote an Erlang port driver for kdb+ and had a great time doing it. It’s open source, and I can share in a DM if you’re interested. q is a fascinating language and kdb+ is an impressive database.
I noticed there are some files in your repo like
._kdb.exand._kdb_interactor.ex. What are those?jjenkins
Sorry, Wrote this a while back, and didn’t notice the cruft. Those were generated by OSX/Apple due to some non-xattr volume manipulation. I’ll remove.
Sure, please do share. Not doing as much work on KDB, but figured I’d share this out.
KDB is quite useful, and we have libs in Elixir/Erlang, but the libs I found out there seemed to not support the remote connection ability. For years, we (my team) just used KDBs http interface, but that doesn’t properly support all of the types KDB has, and does not allow for pubsub. This provides all of that.
