But… Am I the only one thinking the “Observer” name is unfortunate/confusing besides the existing
:observertool ?:observeris what comes to my mind first (it seems important enough to get its own entry in the documentation) and I have to admit that this is pretty annoying to stumble upon “Observer” content when looking for:observerstuff (and it seems ironically puzzling for newcomers in the ecosystem).AstonJ

It should be called “Comparator” which is now a widely recognised word thanks to Minecraft redstone comparators.
