I had an idea: a livestream on May 24th 2022 to celebrate Elixir’s 10th anniversary.

Would you watch it?

How long should it be? My initial idea is one hour.

What should we have on this “show”?

I am using May 24th because that’s the day José Valim published v0.5.0 Release v0.5.0 · elixir-lang/elixir · GitHub

The blog post describing this release was published on May 25th. It says: “This marks the first release since the language was rewritten.” Elixir v0.5.0 released - The Elixir programming language

Adolfo

If anyone wants to confirm, then can listen to Jose saying that 0.5.0 marks indeed the date for the Elixir anniversary in this podcast at minute 11:

1 million bonus points if you start it with a “Hi José” skit (referencing the Erlang movie) :joy:
