Hello Elixir community,
As the application date for Google Summer of Code (GSoC) opens in a few hours, I wanted to ask if the Elixir team would be willing to participate in GSoC for this year. I looked up online and found out that Elixir did participate in 2013 and 2018 previously.
I have been wanting to try to get into contributing to Expert personally, but since my experience in Elixir is relatively new, I don’t feel as confident working on Elixir codebases (I have read till chapter 6 of the “Elixir in Action” book and have been using the language for small scripts now and then, but that’s about it).
So I was thinking it’d be nice if Elixir participated this year, so I can get help from a mentor and gain experience writing Elixir code that might end up getting used on a project used by the community.
