Join us Thursday, March 20th at 7:00 PM CET for a new episode of the Belgian :belgium: BEAM meetup group. We’ll hang out online and make room for two fantastic speakers:

  • Join @Lucassifoni as he shares insights from developing Alzo, his innovative software suite for architects. While building this complex product, Lucas discovered that integrating with the Java and Nodejs ecosystems eliminated the need to reinvent the wheel. Learn firsthand how he leverages the BEAM and Elixir as powerful, versatile tools to tackle integration challenges. Drawing from his hands-on experience, Lucas will show you how to make these technologies work seamlessly together.

  • Join Nelson Vides (Senior Developer at Erlang Solutions) as he explores the critical role of metrics in service reliability. After years of inconsistent solutions in the Elixir community, he has reworked one of Hex.pm’s most downloaded packages: Prometheus. Drawing from hands-on experience, he’ll clarify the sometimes confusing landscape of observability, distinguishing between metrics and instrumentation while explaining how Telemetry and Prometheus complement each other. Learn practical techniques for instrumenting your applications and discover the improvements that were made to the Prometheus client library. Whether you’re new to observability or looking to enhance your monitoring approach, you’ll gain valuable insights for implementing robust metrics in your Elixir projects.
