It’s a really good article. I think the summary is perfect (except for the “frontend” choice):

  1. use Go for systems
  2. use Elixir for APIs
  3. use Python for data science
  4. use ReasonML for frontend (I am not sure about this one because I have 0 experience with ReasonML).

Aren’t software systems Elixir’s strength? Why limit it to only APIs?

Sure but I think Go just wins in this area because it can compile to native.

Biased but right. (That is a joke, I do think he is too harsh to Python and Javascript).
