I wrote up a blog post talking about the first skill I made, one that does a detailed Elixir dependency update.
More than Dependabot, it reviews changelogs and looks for code call sites that might be impacted by the changes. It also presents a full list of diff links for the main and transitive dependencies.

The skill looks pretty good!
I don’t mean to plug my own thing, but I recently updated elixirstream.dev to have an agentic entrypoint that you can use in your skill for some upgrades: https://elixirstream.dev/gendiff/api which is helpful for updating dependencies (such as Phoenix) where they’ve generated code for you; so the API is about running and diffing those generated bits.
I’m not suggesting your skill use the API, but feel free to be inspired to include that procedure in your skill
