Amazon states AuroraDB has full Postgres compatibility.

Yeah, it does until it does not 
Few things are different, for example approach to query plans or some lock names, I think. But nothing that should affect Ash. It can, however, affect Oban, for example, as we’ve seen here: Improving Oban throughput on Aurora RDS
