Hey team,
Next week we will be holding our first virtual BEAM user group meetup. We have two fantastic presentations to kick things off.
2020-04-02T18:15:00Z - Talk #1: Alvise Susmel - Real-time object detection with Phoenix and Python
2020-04-02T19:00:00Z - Talk #2: What actually is the BEAM? by Michał Muskala
Obviously, as we are no longer bound by geography we welcome you to join from wherever you are in the world. You can register at https://www.meetup.com/erlangusergroup/events/269128236/
We’re also asking for community feedback on what content they’d most prefer over the coming weeks. We’d love your help you can share your thoughts with us at https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/KPXPTSS

I can’t find an explicit mention of the timezone in the post, nor on meetup.com , can you please clarify?

I took the freedom to edit your post such that times are displayed local to the reader (mouse over will show additional TZ info)

Thanks for this.
I got to virtually attend this, and I managed to find 2 links
Good talk about joining 2 worlds, each with their own strengths.
Excellent live coding demo
At this conference, we're surrounded by the word "BEAM". A quick exploration will reveal it has to do with how Erlang code is executed and is the secret sauce uniting all of us - Erlang, Elixir, LFE, Efene and others. But do you really know what it...
An awesome talk about the runtime virtual machine, it’s history, bytecode, stacks, registers…

As my laptops power supply broke yesterday, I was unable to join.
Are there records of the meeting or the talks at least?
Unfortunately, while we did intend to, we were not able to in the end. This will be rectified for future virtual meetups.

I was unfortunately not able to attend at that time, but I really hope that there will be more digital meetups organised in the future!

It says filled up now. Is that a restriction of the remote software or something else?
