About the job

Job title:

Full Stack Elixir Developer

Job description:

We’re looking for an Elixir developer who enjoys building products and solving problems. You’ll work directly with our CTO and engineering team to build new features, improve performance, integrate third-party services, and help shape the future of our platform.

This is a startup environment, so we’re looking for someone who enjoys taking ownership, learning new technologies, and contributing ideas—not just implementing assigned tickets.

Our stack includes:

  • Elixir

  • Phoenix

  • Phoenix LiveView

  • PostgreSQL

  • JavaScript / TypeScript

  • Fly.io

  • Docker

  • GitHub

Salary range:

$70,000-$90,000 USD per year (depending on experience)

Qualifications or experience required:

  • Professional experience with Elixir

  • Experience with Phoenix

  • Experience with Phoenix LiveView

  • PostgreSQL and SQL

  • REST API development

  • Git/GitHub

  • Strong communication skills

  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Bonus experience:

  • Fly.io

  • Docker

  • AI/LLM integrations

  • Stripe

  • Twilio

  • Healthcare software or HIPAA

  • Production system scaling

We’re open to junior and mid-level developers with solid fundamentals. If you’re excited about Elixir and eager to grow, we encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every qualification listed.

What the successful job applicant will be working on:

Some of the projects on our roadmap include:

  • AI-powered patient scheduling

  • Workflow automation

  • CRM enhancements

  • Analytics dashboards

  • EMR integrations

  • Billing automation

  • Patient communication systems

  • AI tools for clinical staff

  • Large-scale patient acquisition and lead management systems

Position on remote work

Remote job:

Yes

Remote restrictions:

United States preferred.

Remote leeway:

We’re open to exceptional international candidates if communication, availability, and time zone overlap work well.

Any other notes about your position on remote work:

We’re a fully remote company with flexible working hours. We care much more about results, communication, and ownership than where you work from.

About the interview process

Our interview process is designed to be straightforward and respectful of your time.

  1. Introductory conversation to learn about your background and answer questions about the role.

  2. Technical discussion focused on previous projects, Elixir experience, and problem solving.

  3. Final conversation with leadership to discuss team fit, goals, and expectations.

We’re primarily interested in understanding how you think through problems and build software. There are no marathon interview loops.

Further info

We’re a small startup, which means every engineer has the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on both the product and the direction of the company. You’ll work closely with leadership, own significant features from design through deployment, and help shape the future architecture of the platform.

If you’re looking for a place where your work matters, where you can continue growing as an Elixir developer, and where you’ll have real ownership over what you build, we’d love to hear from you.

Please send your resume, GitHub profile (if available), and a brief introduction to niam@patientreach360.com. We’d also love to hear about projects you’ve built and what excites you about working with Elixir.
