AI is pretty good at Elixir now! ChatGPT o1-preview writes a NimbleParsec parser for me

I honestly had no idea how to do this myself and ChatGPT nailed it.

Out of the 4 revisions I asked for, only one didn’t work. And it fixed the problem immediately after I told it what the problem was!

Elixir isn’t exactly a mainstream language, much less NimbleParsec a popular library. I’m thoroughly impressed!

Claude as well!

I remember last year the LLMs didn’t even understand that variables are immutable in Elixir. They have come a long way.
