Full Stack Developer (m/f) Stuttgart

Zaya is an innovative startup, with the vision to take the recruiting business to a new technological level, therefore we are looking for an intern as full stack developer (m/f).

From February 2019, we will hire motivated interns for our office in Stuttgart , who will become part of our mission.

As a full stack developer (m/f) you help with the development and improvement of a new web platform using innovative technologies, such as Elixir and Phoenix .

Your tasks as full stack developer (m/f) :

  • Design, develop and implement new features in a dynamic and fast working environment based on cutting edge technologies for the web front-end and APIs
  • Working with your team, you work on high quality coding standards, focusing on topics such as TDD, code coverage and coding conventions
  • You will be involved in our full software stack right from the beginning and will also plan conceptional elaboration of functionalities and UI / UX components
  • As a full stack developer, you are actively involved in the optimization of agile processes

Your profile as full stack developer (m/f) :

  • You are studying computer science, physics or mathematics or you have a similar IT-related qualification
  • Good programming skills, ideally in a functional programming language
  • First experience or interest in the development of innovative frontend applications
  • Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
  • You can handle common development tools like Git and the Command Line

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Elixir and Phoenix or Erlang is a plus or a desire to learn it quickly

Good know-how in JavaScript (Es6), Node.js, vue.js or react.js as well as knowledge in HTML5 and CSS3

Interest in the development of web applications based on RESTful APIs, basic understanding of RESTful architectures and their structure
