Elixir Backend Developer (Middle/Senior) - remote/onsite - Saint Petersburg, Russia

At the moment, we are expanding our team and looking for a Middle/Senior Elixir Backend Developer for our projects.

In these projects, we design smart car insurance software, which generates CASCO policy cost based on user’s driving style. One of these applications Flexy Drive allows you to get insurance for a certain amount of time or kilometers and is already available in the Android and iOS stores.

About the job

Job title: Elixir Backend Developer (Middle/Senior)
Salary range: from 15 $/hour

Qualifications or experience required:

1. 3+ years of software developing in any language (C, C#, Go, Rust, Clojure, Scala).
2. Interest to develop in Elixir and/or Erlang.
3. Experience in developing services within a microservice architecture.
4. Experience in creating high-load scalable distributed systems.
5. Able to read technical documentation in English.

Would be beneficial:

1. 2+ years of Leading Engineer work experience.
2. Understanding of Agile (Test Driven Development, Code Review, Continuous Integration).
3. Experience with SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL, …).

What the successful job applicant will be working on:

1. Application-level software development for the service platform.
2. Integration of the software developed with related and external systems.
3. Technical documentation development for the software.
