We are part of the Copus Group, a leading HR services provider in Belgium. Within this ecosystem, the Seal Innovation Team was created as a small, dedicated group of developers and designers working independently on greenfield projects. In our last 4-5 internal projects we’ve used Elixir/Phoenix as core technologies.


About the job

Job title: Remote Software Engineer (Elixir/Phoenix)
Job description:
Join our innovation team to help build and launch new digital tools and services from scratch. You’ll work in a small team alongside senior developers, a designer, and a technical project manager, contributing to all phases of development from conception to deployment.
Salary range: Competitive and based on experience (let’s talk!)
Qualifications or experience required:

  • Solid experience with Elixir and the Phoenix framework
  • Experience with PostgreSQL
  • Bonus: Ruby and/or GraphQL familiarity
  • Bonus: knowledge of Ubuntu, Nginx, Heroku, AWS
    What the successful job applicant will be working on:
  • Building and testing MVPs for new digital services
  • Collaborating with a close-knit team to ship high-quality code
  • Influencing technical decisions and experimenting with modern tools and patterns

About the interview process

We keep things simple and human:

  1. Informal video call with the project manager to get to know each other.
  2. Short technical call with one of our engineers to discuss your experience and approach.
  3. Final conversation to align expectations and discuss the offer.
