Job title: Snr. Elixir Engineer
Job description: As an Elixir developer, you will be involved in all parts of the development cycle from idea to implementation and everything in between. We are passionate about Open Source, and our services are primarily written in Elixir, Nodejs, and Scala. We also utilize other cutting-edge technologies: Elastic, BigQuery, and Mnesia. Our philosophy is to use the best tool for the job to provide the optimal solution
Salary range: Full time. What do you need?
Position on remote work: No remote applications please. We will happily relocate you to our beautiful and growing city. It’s been said we are #2 behind Silicon valley for Tech ecosystem
Qualifications
Required skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience in development of various complex systems dealing with high trafficked, high availability and high transactional systems
• You have a comprehensive understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle
• 2+ years of experience in Elixir/OTP and ideally coming from Ruby or Erlang before that
• You have experience with Linux
• You have good English oral and written skill
What the successful job applicant will be working on:
High transactional back-end systems developed in Elixir/OTP

ideally you come from an “visa exempt” country. This will fast track your relocation whereas you can be landed in Toronto within 30 days or starting the process with us. While ideally we want you to come from a visa exempt country, please note it may take upto 4 months if not from one of these countries:
