Job description:

Strong proficiency in Elixir or other functional programming languages.
Expertise in designing, building, and maintaining distributed systems or complex applications.
Extensive experience working with SQL and relational databases.
Solid understanding of software development best practices, design patterns, and system architecture.
Experience with Kafka, developing and maintaining an event-driven architecture.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects and mentor engineers.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with a track record of working effectively in cross-functional teams.

Qualifications or experience required: The role involves designing and building scalable backend systems, requiring strong proficiency in Elixir**/Phoenix**, and also offers the opportunity to work across the stack with React (optional).
