I was using Countries library in all my projects, and run into a need to update the lib, and it turned out that it was kind of abandoned and last release was on Oct 31, 2019. Also there were bunch of open Issues and Pull Requests on GitHub. So, this is how BeamLabCountries was born.
So, forked Countries, implemented all Issues and Pull Requests from the GitHub and added bunch of things we needed for our projects, and now I switched to this lib in all my projects.
Let me know your feedback. Recently I added country unions such as the European Union, NATO, G7, ASEAN, and other international organizations, country flags and vat tax info.
