Admiral Lars, calling all dusty Nerves-capable devices

If you’ve signed up for The Nerves Community Fleet, the first email just went out to that group.

If you have not. Let me explain.

I’m giving a talk at Code BEAM in Berlin. It is intended to show the greatness of Nerves and the wild capabilities of NervesHub. And so, I need a device fleet to sail into glorious distributed demos. I even made a … Short … video.

Curious? Sign up for the next update here: Sign up for The Nerves Community Fleet

And get started using the releases and instructions here: GitHub - lawik/fleet

Holler here in thread or elsewhere if you have questions or more of a comment really.

I figure maybe one of you has a Raspberry Pi that is not currently doing meaningful work. Just maybe.

Ahoy  ! Just put two devices online, they show up on my network. Eager to see your demo !

Love it!

37 devices and counting. If anyone wants to confirm that their device is up. See if you can find the nerves-XXXX.local address of it. Many home network UIs will show that or you can use a dedicated mDNS discovery app like this one for MacOS.

If you send me the address I’ll be able to pick them out in the pile and confirm
